To the surname utility on the main page has been added Jackson County, Florida Marriages. When you submit your surname in the center window, you will get a page of database links. Scroll down to "Miscellaneous Marriage Databases for YOUR_SURNAME". This link will have all of the marriage databases so far.
Also, more World War I Overseas Casualty Reports have been added with many surnames represented. What information can you gather from these reports?
- The fact that your ancestor had a military record
- The fact that he/she fought in World War I
- An approximate date of death or injury
- Was your ancestor a POW?
- Your ancestor's rank or job while serving.
- You may find a middle initial that you didn't have.
- The town where your ancestor lived.
